Operational Resilience Manager – Global Bank

My Client is a Global Bank based in London; they are looking for a contract Operational Resilience Manager on an 11 month contract. The Operational Resilience Implementation Manager will support the implementation of the Operational Resilience Programme for Wholesale Banking. Ideally you will have Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on Operational Resilience and have experience in running testing and scenario selection and testing.

Key skills:

• Strong Operational resilience, business resilience and designing Operational resilience requirements within the Banking / Financial Services industry.
• Strong working knowledge of the external Operational Resilience regulatory environment globally – with the UK regulatory landscape being incredibly important.
• Data-driven, aims to use data to design and improve on processes- with a background of using data to drive decision making and monitor key risks and controls.
• Commercial Banking, Global Banking, Trade, Payments and Operations a distinct advantage.
• Third party risks and implementation of third party programs a plus.
• Knowledge of Cyber and technology is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Project implementation of the global rollout of the Operational Resilience Programme for Wholesale across key markets in 2024.
• Providing SME capability on Operational resilience in the global wholesale business, on bankwide design meetings, helping craft various elements of the program.
• Providing Quality Assurance on the programme rollout, checking and challenging markets.
• Lead and provide SME on testing. Provide input into scenario selection and testing, running pilots and designing templates for vulnerabilities.
• Developing and providing training and communications to markets where Operational Resilience is being rolled out to reinforce and embed key requirements.
• Assisting in responses to regulatory requirements and information requests.
• Preparing and coordinating governance for Wholesale Operational Resilience.
